Fatal Error

Whenever Outlook is opened I get the following:
"Fatal Error - cannot clean temporary directory"
I then have to hit okay and then it will finish opening Outlook. I have
deleted all tmp and temp directories, but still a problem. I now have the
problem of not being able to open excel docs in Outlook. I have to save the
workbook, then drill down through the files to open it and I think these 2
problems are some how related.

The first error is being caused by an addin that you have installed.

It's hard to say what your second issue is without any details.
What happens when you try?
Is it just for Excel files or also others? Which?

Include at least;
-your version of Outlook (Help-> About)
-type of mail account (POP3, IMAP, Exchange, HTTP, Outlook Connector,
Exchange, other...?)
-any errors in their exact wording as they are presented to you.
