Faulting application winword.exe

Getting this error when starting Word 2003. I've seen dozens of
complaints similar, with no response from Microsoft to these support
groups. Why?

Faulting application winword.exe, version 10.0.6612.0, faulting module
winword.exe, version 10.0.6612.0, fault address 0x000f15b2.

installed on your system. Go to Add\Remove and uninstall all previous office
