sorry to be so thick but i am still missing something. i can not get the
favicon to appear on my site (www.msrwest.com). it is a basic ico file 16x16
and 16 colors. i have added the relative link in the <head> section (<link
rel=shortcut icon href=favicon.ico>) but it still won't come up. Note that
there are 3 frames... could that be causing the trouble?

if you enter the address to the icon (www.msrwest.com/favicon.ico) you can
see the icon works; it just won't appear on the tab of IE 7 or address of IE
6.

thanks for any suggestions.

The code needs to be on the main frameset page. Then add your site to your
favorites and you should see it.

i added the code to the main frame page (Frames Page HTML) in frontpage 2002
and still nothing...

any other suggestions?

Thanks! so busy looking for the hard answer i missed the easy one...
clearing the temporary files and history did the trick.
