Favorite Folders choice missing from View Navigation Pane

Outlook 2007, Windows XP: I'm trying to remove Favorite Folders from the
Navigation Pane on a co-worker's computer.

Office Help, and Google, tells me to select View/Navigation Pane and from
there to select or unselect Favorite Folders.

Well, there IS no Favorite Folders choice on her computer. Nor on mine.

I am glad that on my computer, Favorite Folders are not displayed: In the
Navigation Pane, I see Folder List, All Folders, All Outlook Items.

Now I figured it out: I am looking at the folder list, not the mail items
list, in the Navgation Pane.

The Help should not assume that there is a Favorite Folders choice in
View/Navigation Pane if it is not always there!

Now I'll have to look at her computer again to see what the deal is, and
whether we can turn off favorite folders there.

Help assumes you are using the default view of Mail folders, otherwise you
don't need to "remove" Favorite Folders because it isn't there and if its
not there, it can't bug you and therefore, won't need removed. :)
