Favorite folders stops just short of being really useful for me.
I have hundreds of folders and sub-folders and so I can only list the major
favorite folders and this often means I have to go to the main navigation
pane below and do tons of scrolling.
What would be really useful is if I double clicked on a favorite folder the
focus moved to that folder in the main navigation below which scrolled up to
the top of the pane automatically so I was where I need to be. This would
vastly reduce the ammount of repettitive scrolling I do.
Also the favorite folders information appears to be stored in a file called
outlook.xml in the c:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\microsoft\outlook.
Why can't this be simply exported so that if you have to rebuild your
installation or the file is corrupted or lost you can import the favorite
folders list back in?
Thanks,
Nigel
