Favorite Folders - Folder Names

Hi. When I put a folder in "favorite folders," the folder name gets extra
words. For example, I put a folder called "Resumes" in the favorite folders
section, and now in that section there's a folder called "Resumes in Personal
Folders." I try to rename it, and when I go to properties it only shows
"Resumes" as a name. But it always comes back with the "in Personal Folders"
in it. I would like to just see the main folder name: "Resumes."
Thank you.

Since the Favorites pane can contain folders from multiple locations,
Outlook always adds the location of the folder to the folder name so you
know where it's located. You can have a "Resumes in Personal Folders", a
"Resumes in Archive Folders", a "Resumes in Other Folders", a "Resumes in
Joe Smith's Mailbox". Without the location you wouldn't be able to tell
them apart.

Thank you, Brian. What I'd like to know is: Is there a workaround? I only
work with my personal folders, so offering a distinction doesn't help me.
Having the extra verbiage really only makes something that should be a
convenience a little more ambiguous. I'd like it to NOT say "in personal
folders." Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Brian,
I forgot to mention .... this is actually for my boss's computer. On my
computer, these folders exist in the favorite folders section without the
extra verbiage. I wonder what the difference is. Both XP with Outlook 2003.
