favorite web adresses in ON!!!

Just to discuss how ON can be used for your favorite web site adresses...
(especially if, or provided that you keep your ON on a usb stick)

Just create a new sections group and create sections inside with titles of
your interest.
Under them create pages with titles of interest.
List in each page the web adresses you like...

Why not to use the 'favorites' folder of internet explorer???

1. If you are using multiple computers, keeping everything on ON is
synchronizing you.

2. If your hdd crashes, normally u loose your favorite adresses. But if you
keep them in ON
it is always there, say on your usb stick.

3. If you are using ON as the only and one place for your text related
documents, then your favorites are
also in ON and this will provide ease of use.

4. In ON you can edit your web adresses directly. It is easier than to edit
them in internet explorer.
Moreover you can highlight and do text edits on your web adresses.
Color the msot favorite ones in ON!

Yeah it did sound like marketing speak. Even the way you casually avoided
mentioning how adding a favorite to OneNote is several steps more than
adding it in IE and getting to it from the web browser is more complicated.
Oh and that there are many sync solutions for favorites, including
http://favorites.live.com :)

But if you're a OneNote junky like we are then yeah it makes perfect sense.

I think it is a matter of choice than it is that one is easier to handle
than the other.

To me adding a web page to favorites is cumbersome and I can not edit it.
Also, to reach a web adress from my favorites, and especially if you have
many subfolders inside,
is not that easy.

Anyways, yes I am a ON junky and I will keep all my text related documents
in one place.
Easier to handle,
Easier to edit,
Easier to reach,
Looks feels better haha
