Welcome to the News Groups for Microsoft Access, the most popular database
in the world! Since this News Group is dedicated to dealing with the issues
of the database application from the Microsoft Office suite, you may receive
quicker (and possibly correct!) answers by posting your question in the
Microsoft.Public.WindowsXP.setup_deployment News Groups.
Search your hard drive for the "other" Favorities directory and place your
files there. If you can't find it, search your Windows Registry for the
directory listed in this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders\Favorities
The following Registry key value should point to the same directory, but it
is likely using an environment variable for the path, such as
"%USERPROFILE%\Favorites" (which is okay):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders\Favorities
HTH.
