Favorites in Office 2003

What happened? Was a very happy Office 2000 user and loved my Favorites folder---easy to put both folders and files in there, but that's not the case with Office 2003. Where did Favorites go and how do I add things like Folders and Word/Excel files in it?

Well I always thought of Favorites as more for browser shortcuts rather than
files which would go into My Documents.

Favorites is a system folder found under your user profile: \Documents and
Settings\<yourname>\Favorites .

I haven't checked into how to add it to the Places Bar in Office 2003
dialogs, but you could create a shortcut to it in one of the other folders.
