Favorites missing from "My Places"

KB 826214 addresses changing the content of the "My Places" bar on file open and file save dialog boxes. I've come to depend on the Favorites folder for quick navigation, and it is missing from the Office 2003 "My Places" bar, with "My Computer" being substituted instead. KB 826214 states that the default places include "Favorites", but the product doesn't reflect that. I'd like to hear what anyone knows about why MS decided to put in "My Computer" in place of "Favorites".

Who knows why it isn't there by default but it is easy enough to add.
Navigate to the folder, select it, and click Tools/Add to "My Places".

Many thanks for this. I've just spent a coople of hours doing searches on Help etc on how to get the Favorites Folder into the List pane on an Open or Save Dialogue box so that Office 2003 behaves as I was used to in Office 2000

I really couldn't find anything in Microsoft Office Help that obviously indicated this.
