I use Entourage address book to keep track of contacts. In Windows
Office, you simply printed to fax (just like Mac). However, all your
Outlook address book/contacts were automatically linked to your fax
function.
With Office Mac, you print to PDF fax, a window pops up and you have to
type in a fax number. How primitive! If you click on the little
figure to the right, it brings up the OS Address Book program, but even
if you just fill in a few contacts that you fax to regularly, you can
not click on a name to automatically fill-in a fax number for you; the
window won't allow it! If you use a TextEdit document and do the same
thing, the OS Address book works as it should.
Does anyone have a workaround to this oddity?
