FAX as default printer-how to switch to print?

I installed software for an HP photosmart 2600.

when i try to print from ms office 98 - word, i get a 'send FAX'
screen, not a print screen.

help?

Make the change from your HP Director program that was also installed when
you install the printer.

Or from your System Preferences>Print and Fax icon.

Set the "Printer" part of the device as your default printer ("Printer
selected in the print dialog".
