I'm not sure about what you are asking exactly. Is the cover sheet you are
referring to in the document? If that's the case then simply delete the
cover sheet. However I don't think that's what you are really asking so can
you elaborate on where you are seeing the cover sheet?

I want to be able to send a single sheet word document without any
additional cover sheet but it seems to automatically attach a cover sheet so
I end up sending two pages. There must be an option somewhere that says
"don't send a cover sheet" but I can't find it! Hope this is a bit clearer -
basically i just want to send a one-sheet word document and nothing else!
Thanks.
Since Word doesn't have this ability built-in, the additional cover sheet
would have to be added by your Fax program. Have you looked there for an
option to control it? What are Fax program are you using?

I'm trying to use the fax console within Windows XP (All
programs/Accessories/Communications/Fax/Fax Console). I've looked through all
the menus but can't seem to find an option to prevent a cover sheet being
generated.

Using WinXP Fax Wizard:
1. When you get to the step that states "Preparing the Cover Page"
2. _Remove_ the check form the box next to the text string
"Select a cover page template with the following information"
