Fax program is completely gone; how do I find it and reinstall?

Hello!

Please accept my apologies in advance; this may not be an office question.

About 3 months ago I had a hard-drive crash and subsequent replacement.
Since that time, my Fax has disappeared completely. I am running Media
Center edition, with Office 2007 SP1.

How do I reinstall my fax? I never realized how much I used it until it was
gone. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

YOu are correct - it is not an Office issue. Your fax program probably came with your analog modem - put in the CD for your modem and reinstall your fax software.

Otherwise, add it from the Windows Optional Components installation if using Windows XP Fax.
