Fax receiving problem

Using MicroSoft Fax Console and Fax Monitor, I have been sending and
receiving faxes without problem for 18 months.
Maybe this is irrelevant, but recently I have installed SP2 and also
Broadband.
Now I can SEND faxes OK, but INCOMING faxes fail, always after approximately
53 seconds.
Can anyone help me to put this right, please?

This might be irrelevant, but is the telephone modem still selected and
connected to phone line for faxes? Broadband modems are not telephones &
cannot do faxing.

I assume the phone was connected since he had no problems sending.

Hi Mary,
Yes, the inbuilt telephone modem in still there and was selected, and was
successful for SENDing fax. Receiving fax was via telephone modem and works
OK for first 53 or 54 seconds (this same figure achieved to date on each of 6
occasions) before failure condition terminates the call.
