Fax

I do not use fax very often and do not want to pay some company for internet
fax services every month, as I do not need that service that often. If I have
a dial up modem on my machine why can't office software use it when I connect
to my phone line. I think office sotware should be able to use install
hardware to send a fax. Can this be done?

The fax software may be included in your version of windows, if not most
dialup modems are supplied with fax software, and if either such
software/drivers are installed then Office can use them
