Each time I open outlook I get this message: The add-in faxextension
c:\windows\system32\fxsext32.dll cannot be loaded and has been disabled by
outlook. This is a new dell computer and no previous version of Office has
been installed. This message occurs after installing enterprise 2007 for the
first itme.
I followed the directions in the other post I found on the subject and
renamed the extend.dat. That fixes the problem until I close Outlook and
re-open it. Then the message appears again. When I open the folder to see
what's going on my renamed oldextend.dat is there but a new extend.dat has
been created.
I thought maybe vista was playing games (virtual files and folder) and
turned USER ACCOUNT CONTROL off on the machine but the file still gets
recreated each time Outlook 2007 is opened.
