Outlook and windows by default has a feature and am not sure why it
stopped working in outlook the moment I upgraded to 2007.
there is this feature in windows, for eg, u are in windows exlporer...
u are searching for a folder called project. u select a random folder
and type "pro" quickly on ur keyboard and it takes you to the first
folder which starts with pro... not sure what that feature is called.?
similar to this, when I was on OL 2003, I could sort on sender and
type first few character of the sender and it wud take to the email
frm that sender. For eg, I am looking for a mail sent by "Doe, John",
I cud just sort on sender and type Doe and the first email frm Doe
would get selected.
For some reason this stopped working after I upgraded to 2007.
However, for my co-worker who also upgraded it works just fine.. am
wondering if there is any setting that i need to enable.
I could try searching microsoft.. but, I dont know what this feature
is called. Any help on resolving this will be greatly appreciated...
Thanks,
Vijay.
