Linkage between an Outlook folder and OneNote
(sort of like PDA replication) -- selected folders
would automatically replicate any added messages
to OneNote folder or section.

BTW:
The user interface in OneNote seems fairly bizarre which
is probably a big part of the reason that OneNote is such a
well kept secret.

It is odd in ways that offer few if any advantages -- almost
as if the designers were just trying a bunch of new ideas
and slapped them together.

A couple of other features I'd like to see are...
1. Ability to hyperlink to other notes pages
2. Having linked task lists, so that when you mark a task as complete in a
summary page, the original is also marked. Also the ability to link between
tasks in OneNote & ones created in Outlook (when Outlook task completed,
OneNote task marked as complete).

Very popular requests, yes.

I like the hyperlink ideas.
More ideas
1) How about Find and REPLACE. I am appalled that there appears to be no
way to perform a simple Search and Replace opertion.
2) Move Item to a Section or Folder with Drag and Drop AND/OR Cut and Paste.
The Move option on the Menu works, but it is like using a table saw where a
paper cutter is needed.
3) Ability to change users.
4) Option to wrap note containers around other containers instead of having
them automaticall merge or hide one another.
5) Show or hide note containers an option for each note container.
6) Optional blank line after list items or bullet items on a per note
container level.
7) Allow the Task Pane to minimize.
8) Make Staying on Top an OPTION of the floating Task Pane.

If more suggestions for improvement are wanted, please email me.
I have dozens and dozens of suggestions.

I love the "paste from" feature, but wish I could format
it so that it doesn't add in the extra blank lines.

I also wish that it would paste the SOURCE program
when pasting from non-web sources (Outlook messages
etc) or even the Email, Newsgroup, Word/Excel etc doc
title when this is possible.

I am trying to discipline myself to stop saving every
email message (mailing lists, ads I choose to receive) and
instead just grab the key details into OneNote.

I have way too many 2 Gig Outlook files; soon I will have
to measure my email in terabytes.

If you're running OL2003, you can easily have PST files larger than 2GB,
and Outlook handles them very well.

You'd rather have terabyte sized *.ONE file? ;)

I thought so too -- even thought that all my files had been
properly "converted" until the other day when OL2003
warned me that the file was full when it reach 2 Gig.

Nice improvement, BTW (and I am serious about this), since
all the previous versions have just silently trashed the file
(usually recoverable but without warning.)
