Feature request - addition of services to OneNote research function

J

Josh Naylor

I am demoing OneNote to the campus community tomorrow and
I was wondering if anyone had information on how to add
additional services to the OneNote research feature.

Our library maintains an extensive collection of journals
and e-reserves; if MS were to make an easy way for us to
integrate our library services and subscriptions into the
product as an additional "research service" option it
would be much more valuable to our user community.

I attempted to do this with a few of the URLs we use from
here on campus and each time I receive an error message:

No services were added because the service provider did
not provide any valid information.

Is there an easy way to have the application search other
sources?

Research services need to be written to use the research pane - see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/rssdk/html/rsSamplesGoogle.asp for a
Google sample. There is also an Amazon sample but I don;'t know the url.
