Feature Request: Sync via active sync with BCM contacts

B

Boe

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the way to actually get a feature request processed.
But here is my request. I would like for BCM to be able to work with
Windows Mobile 5 and ActiveSync so that contacts can be accessed via your
Windows Mobile 5 device. I understand there are other products on the
market that are CRM products and that there are third party sync tools for
BCM so that the contacts might be accessible from regular contacts. I am
officially requesting that this feature actually be built in NATIVELY with
BCM/Exchange/Outlook or that if there is a better medium for getting this
request enacted that some take the initiative to make it happen. I am not
looking for exports or other hacks to enable some functionality but for an
actual method be available for up to the minute data be available via
ActiveSync. I beg of you if you are also desiring this functionality that
you vote on this or whatever is necessary to get the attention of MS.

Thank you

I think the simple answer here is that WM5 was released after BCM v2.
Presumably BCM v3 will fix this.

I have tested BCM3 - I guess I'm not supposed to say what it does or does
not do but I'd suggest that you also request that this feature be fixed.

Is BCM3 available as a beta somewhere ?

Simply unbelievable this situation exists with win mobile 5.0

Also, the ability to use ActiveSync to sync Business Contacts AND Contacts.
As a small business owner I keep Business Contacts in (funnily enough)
business contact manager, and personal contacts in outlook contacts. I use a
PDA and a smart phone, and currently have no way of syncing business contact
info without deleting all contact info from my device.
