I routinely use the screen clipping feature to take note of info on a web
page. Honestly, after using this feature for a week I adopted ON 2003 as an
essential piece of computer software. I no longer need to have a pad of paper
and pencil sitting next to my computer keyboard (which seemed crazy even back
then).
So, here is my question/feature request. Why did ON 2007 include options
for the insertion point for webnotes but not for screen clippings? The menu
Tools/Options/Send to OneNote/Webnotes in ON 2007 will set the program
behaviors so that clicking the ON icon in internet explorer will send the
info to either:
(new page in section..)
(new page in current section)
(on the current page).
Unfortunately, a similar set of options is not available for the screen
clippings feature. This would be a valuable feature to prevent a whole string
of notes piling up in the unfilled notes section (which requires the ON icon
to be visible in the taskbar).
This seems like an easy fix.
