Feature Request!

I dont know what others think,
but it would be nice to have a second line
for section and folder tabs.
Here is what I mean: When you add several sections or folder,
the ones which does not fit become hidden and can be unhidden
by clicliking on the arrow created.
However, It would be nice if ONENOTE would allow for a second line
for section and folder tabs.
I think this is not a very specific request and other would also
be pleased to have this option I guess.
So what are your thoughts?

Agree, scrolling hidden section tabs is annoying (the ON dev team is aware of
this in case you wonder :)). Have you used Navigation pane? (there is folder
name in big letters in the left top corner with a black arrow beside it -
it's actually a button and opens the navigation pane) Does it help?

no it does not help =))
so I still want to ON to allow me a second line of tabs =)
but thanx.

I too would love to see this changed but:

1) what happens when you have more tabs than will fit into 2 rows?

2) if you have two rows of tabs and click a tab on the top row, does the tab
stay on the top row?

e.g. In Word, the dialogue box under Tools > Options displays rows of tabs
(emulating the visual metaphor of index cards stacked on top of each other).
If I click a tab in the top row, the entire row of tags jumps to the bottom
(front) and the row of tabs at the front jumps to the back (to keep them
visible) which I find disconcerting. After left-clicking, I always have to
look carefully at the resultant tab configuration to see where the tabs have
jumped. I would not like to see this behaviour in OneNote section tabs.

ON developers can simply put an option to sepcify the up to number of rows.

Good point! This tabs row jumping is distracting for sure!
I highly recommend/request that this point to be considered carefully by ON
developers.

But afterall, if ON developers cant solve this problem, I still would like
to a second row for tabs.
MVGs please note this!
