Feature request ???

It could be nice if ON allows to edit the text for page names - I mean the
strips in a section, on the left ordered vertically.
For instance I would like to make some of the names of pages bold.
Is this an exceptional request?

You mean the ability to format?

That might be useful, but it's not consistent with other page tab metaphors
found in Windows/Office. You can't format page tabs in an Excel Workbook,
for example.

Yes page tabs, but not section tabs.
I mean only the tabs on the left for pages.
I agree that this is not common in other applications,
but as a note taking program, it would just be useful.
I dont know what others think.
Thanx

I'm not sure where you're going with the bold, seems a little overboard for
me. But what about something like bookmarks?I think it would be nice to be
able to put a little 'sticker' on a page tab to direct our attention to a
specific page.

That is interesting - I like the idea of being able to "Bookmark" a few
favorite pages. I guess you could do essentially that with a custom
noteflag and a View | NoteFlags Summary but that's a bit of a workaround.

I dont know exactly what would need to be done, but it'd be great if the
notebook is shared or somthing...
I dunno, each person would have a special sticker, and the management would
know where each person is at in the stage of development, or where they are
in their notes... I dunno just some thoughts.
