Features Missing in 2008 Excel

1. Print preview commands and functionality....one of the most consistently used features, at least from me....
2. I can add the insert Row/Column buttons into the toolbar, but they're grayed out as soon as I return from the Customize dialog

I really need you folks to put the PPreview stuff back, otherwise an enormous time-waster trying to toggle back and forth and mulitiple guesswork

See this thread in this same newsgroup started just 3 days ago: Print
Preview in Excel 2008

Can't help on this one right now as I am not at a Mac. Will try to get back
to it later if someone else doesn't beat me to it:)

BTW: Separate issues are better dealt with if posted as *separate* messages.

For the record, "we folks" have nothing to do with what goes in or what
comes out. We're private citizens who use the product & try to lend a
helping hand when we can. If you have a beef with MS use the Help> Send
Feedback feature in the appropriate app.

Print Preview mode has been removed. Use Page Layout view or MacOSX's
Preview button in the Print dialog.

You probably added the Insert Row/Insert Column commands from the Edit
Category. if your read the description displayed when you select those
commands in the Customize Toolbars & Menus dialog, they apply to "a list
created by using the List Manager".

You should instead use the Insert Row/Insert Column commands from the
Insert Category.

"We folks" are not MS. Use Help/Send Feedback.. to request the changes.
Note, however, that given that Print functions in Office are handled by
the OS, I'd expect Print Preview to be handled the same way, rather than
trying to continue trying to duplicate it within the app.
