Fed Up with OL2003 & want to install 2000

After installing Office 2003 with Outlook, and running into nothing but
problems with e-mail account set up between Outlook, Comcast and Earthlink, I
want to totally get rid of it and get my trusty Outlook 2000 back. Can I use
the rest of Office 03, but still use Outlook 2000?
I see that there are many of us running into the same problem with e-mail
accounts getting messed up out of the blue and it has caused me way too many
headaches to even work efficiently.
