feeding from another database

can anybody help me answer this question that was sent to me today?

"I've been asked by my colleague to set up a new database which I've done.
She'd like it linked to an already existing database so that they "talk" to
each other. She seems to think you have set up a macro on the existing one
which takes entries from it when a tick is placed in a particular column??!!
She'd like this applied to the new database I've set up. "

To link to another database, select the FILE menu, then GET EXTERNAL DATA,
then LINK TABLES. Then select the database file and the table you'd like to
link. You will see that table appear in your database file and you can use
it in your queries, reports, and forms.
