Few macro questions

I've been trying to get a macro going for reveal formatting and for some
reason it wont stick. I'm wondering if there are issues for this.

Also, I can't get a macro to work to bring up the macro box which displays
all your macros.

Lastly, in macro box which list all your macros, is there a way to change
the order of those macros? I can't figure it out, they don't drag.

Thanks!

At what point does it beak up? What error messages are you getting?

"Option-F8" should be sufficient to reveal that dialog box. By the way, note
that "Option-F11" opens up the Visual Basic Editor (toggles back and forth, in
fact).

They're displaying in alphabetical order. I think there's no way to change
this but you could insert "non suignificant" letters in the names, something
like "A_MyMacro5" would show higher in the list than "B_MyMacro1"
Thanks Bernard:
That's a good short cut to see macro box.

I just tried it twice again.
I run new macro, then I select to use toolbar shortcut. I call it reveal. I
drag it to toolbar and hit ok.
I go to menu and select reveal formatting. The symbol comes up with
pointer. I select the square to stop macro. But it does not work/run. I
even went a step further and clicked on some text after the reveal
formatting symbol was on and working then stopped macro. Still does not run.

Remember that VBA and Word are two separate applications, and they
can't both have the focus - when you're running a macro, most, if
not all Word features, including selection, are disabled from the
user interface.

At the risk of jumping in without all the facts, would putting the
Reveal Formatting command on a toolbar solve your problem?

Tools/Customize/Commands:
Categories: View
Command: RevealFormatting

drag it to a toolbar and it will serve as a toggle.

You did it again! there it is in customize menu. You know I have to get
into the habit of looking under the customize list before I go flying off to
make macros. Thanks
