Few question about processes on MS Project Server

Hi,

I was looking to see if there was a standard process for Resource management
on project server.

Also if i have a project plan created in Project Professional, can i update
it straight from the web and what is the process behind it.

When you create a project in Microsoft Project Professional, you must
publish the project so that team members can see their task assignments on
their timesheet page in PWA. Team members update their task progress in PWA
and send their updates to the PM. The PM receives and approves/rejects task
updates from team members, and then process the approved updates into the
actual Microsoft Project plan. Hope this helps.
