Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Is there any feel that the Analysis Packages found in the Windows edition will be on the forthcoming edition of Excel for the Mac? I code my stuff in C/Fortran/IDL/NCL but we have some people who see the spreadsheet as the only hammer in their toolbox (making everything look like a nail :-/)

Hi Bill:

Oh, there's a "feeling" that we might do a bit better than that. However:

"Those who tell us, don't know. Those who know, are not allowed to tell us"
:)

Sorry mate: They would lock me up and throw away the key if I were to answer
that :)

Cheers

Shucks, I'll settle on getting Word to work. For all else there's programming, Numerical Recipes in place of Excel, and transparencies, markers and an overhead projector for Powerpoint ;-P
