Field Alignment

Hey Folks, I have a few fields inside a repeating table, that I want to have
"stand still"!

ok, so what that really means is that I have a few fields lined up
horizontally for telephone numbers. Problem is that if the middle field is
not populated, it ruins the alignment of the fields. because now the 3rd
field is not aligned under the row's above field. I need it to look like
excel in a sense where is a field is blank, the field boxes hold their
position on the screen.

I have removed text wrap, hit the align button, set the field sizes, etc.
but no option to align the fields inside the repeating table box.

Any help would be great appreciated.

Thanks,
-a

I don't understand your issue. If you are using a "table" then all columns
should always remain aligned regardless of fields in the particular table
cells.

Greg, I know that was a bit confusing - let me try another example - I cant
seem to use footers in my current form. I was wondering if I could create a
text box and anchors itself to the very bottom of the page (on print) and
can even possibly repeat itself much like a footer.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Alex

I see. This would be a great feature. It would have made my life easier many
times. However, sadly, it is not possible in InfoPath.
If you have a very regular printout that you can design a view to in order
to include such a fake footer, then do it. But 99.9% of the time this is not
possible.
