I have a word file with some different dates that I've manually
entered. I'd like to have each of these dates flagged in some way,
(maybe via a colour changing) when the date has passed. Is there some
way to do this in Word, perhaps with macros or something?
Also, within a table that I've constructed, are three different cells:
I'd like to be able to insert a fillin field in the first cell, asking
for the person's name, however when the person enters the name, I need
the result to be inserted either in the current cell or either of the
two other cells, depending on the name entered.
I know how to enter the fillin field, but I'm not sure how to make the
result a variable. I was looking through the different field codes and
saw two called "if" and "DocVariable". They sounded like they would do
the trick but am not sure how to carry it out.
If someone is able to help me with either of these two problems, i'd
really appreciate it.
Thanks very much.
