I'm new to Access and I'm trying to format two different
text fields in a table that will display data in the first
one from field entry with a mask and in the second, that
has joined the contents of two fields (in another table)
to display combined data with a center input masks.
An example of what I want the single field to display
would be "APN# 16425401101" without the quotes. The input
mask is APN# and the data to be entered is the 11 digit
number.
The second data field has a final display of
"121 DOM - Doc# 20020103:00123" where the 121 is one field
and 20020103:00123 is the second field and DOM - Doc# is
the field mask between the two.
The information is populated from a linked table that
contains just the data and I need to display the data in
the new table with the masks as this table is linked to a
VB program and I have no control over editing the report
function.
