field name bug in import wizard

I'm using office XP(2002) and when I import a file, doesn't matter what type,
excel or csv..when I get to the stage where it picks up the fields and then
allows me to customize which fields to import and to choose the type..the
field name box does not change as I click on each of the fields...has anyone
seen this before?

Also I can't seem to get an import from excel unless I specify a primary key
field. a bit bizarre? it also doesn't seem to like blank columns either...

This problem should go away if you install the most recent Office XP
service pack; it's downloadable from the Microsoft website.
