Field-names in merged letter sent by Outlook Express?

I merge letters using Word XP and AccessXP. The merge letter is OK, but when
mailed through Word with Outlook Express, the mail also contains the
field-names. What am I doing wrong? - I use WinXp - and send letters as
text. If I send them as "html" the field-names arestill there.

Hi KS,

Are you actually executing the merge? It doesn't sound like it. From the
View menu, turn on the Mailmerge toolbar and use one of the buttons at the
right hand end of the Mailmerge toolbar to execute the merge to the desired
destination.
