"Field Options" Do NOT work in 2003

I've seen a few references to this, with no concrete answer or solution from
MS.

When using Access 2003, importing from a text file using the wizard, the
wizard page that is supposed to allow you to select a column and change its
field options does NOT work, it stays 'stuck' on the settings for the first
field.

Of course the "advanced' tab works, or saving to a specification, but the
simpler route should work to.

Does anyone know why not? TIA

So why wouldn't this be in their KB?

Oh well, thanks for the reply, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't somehow
missing some obvious solution (because I couldn't find one in the NG)...

Tom,

Several of us have reported it but I haven't seen any responses with a fix

or acknowledging that there isn't one. I did put a note here a couple weeks
ago specifically targeted to whatever MVP is watching to be sure this fix is
in the June service pack, and asking that this be released prior to that.
The work-around thru the Advanced tab is a pain in frequent use.
