Hello,
I've been managing my data for internal repairs in my
manufacturing plant in Excel, and am attempting to
convert "some" of it to excel...only the items that need
data entry at the spot. I had many validation lists in
excel that were easy to manage, but I'm finding that
Access seems to be a little more cumbersome in that
Arena. However, I see how to use the lookup feature in
design mode for each of my fields and in order to only
choose from the list, choose yes on "limit to list". Now,
my question. Many of my "old" validation lists contained
letters and numbers...for example...my model numbers might
be (523, LV523, 97, LV97, etc). Whether I format this
list at number or text, it only gives me the numbers from
my lookup table. How can I get it to give me both?
Thanks much,
Aaron
