Fields in form aren't forwarding

I have a question about a form we have in Outlook but unfortunately, I am not
the author of the form and I'm not familiar with how these forms are created.
But I'm hoping if I explain the problem, someone might have suggestions for
me to pass on to the form author. Here goes:

We have a form that people fill out and "send". It is my job to take those
forms and assign them to various loan officers. When I click the forward
button, some of the fields lose the information in them (but not every
field). The author of the form says she has tried everything to get those
fields to forward. She says she doesn't know what is causing it and can't
figure out a solution. She has created similar forms and those forward just
fine.

Do you have any suggestions on what she can look for in the form that might
be causing this problem? I know this question is very vague and I apologize
for that. If you need more info, let me know and I'll see if I find the
answer. Thanks!!

Two things immediately come to mind. To check them, you'll need to put the
form into design mode:

1) On the (Actions) tab of the form, for the Forward action, check what form
is listed under "Creates form of type." It should be the same form as the
custom form you're working on.

2) Check to make sure that each text box and other control on the form is
bound to an Outlook property. You can see this on the Properties dialog, at
the top of the Value tab. Check both the compose layout and the read layout
if you have both.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will be forwarding them to the form author and
see what she says. Again, sorry for the vagueness of my post/question. I'm
kind of asking questions about something I know NOTHING about.

Hi,
I'm the person that created the form. The form has separate compose and
read pages. The fields that will not forward properly have a variety of
traits, such as:

--currency fields
--dropdown lists
--fields with mathmatical formulas

The only ones that are forwarding properly are the text fields. None of the
other forms I have created have this problem. I have ensured that the text
boxes are all bound to fields on both the Compose and Read pages. I have
also made sure that the forwarding Action is setup to create the same form.
Any ideas you have would be most appreciated! This is a huge form which
would take hours to recreate, and I really don't want to do that if I don't
have to. Thanks!

If it's a huge form, that may itself be the problem. Outlook does have
limits, albeit rather vague ones, and the symptom when you go over them is
data loss and formula fields that don't calculate. How huge is "huge" in
terms of number of fields and amount of data stored per item?
