Hello,
we use Project Server 2003. We develop some views on one server and would
like to move them to a production server.
So I used Viewbackup.exe to backup the views on one server and restore them
in the other.
But when I open the restored views, all fields are missing.
I looked into the xml files, which are being generated by viewbackup.exe and
all fields are listed.
Then I looked at the project server datbases and found that there is the
entry for connecting fields to views in the MSP_WEB_VIEW_REPORTS_FIELDS table
missing.
Does anyone have a clue about this. Why is viewbackup.exe not updating this
table when restoring views, why are the fields missing?
Is there any other way to move views from one server to an other?
Thanks
Frank
