I have Word 2003, is there a limit on the amount of characters in a "fillin"
field? I cannot type more than 30 words in a field?

A Fill-in field has a 255 character limit.

Perhaps if you provide some additional details on what you are trying
to do we can provide some alternate suggestions.

Thanks Beth, I was trying to update "fillin" field on a fax template, and
got a little mixed up with purpose of "fillin" fields. I was trying to put
the body of text into the field dialog box instead of the fax form. Doh!
