Figured out how to draw (insert rather) a "straight" line, or...

I may be the only one that likes to draw nice straight lines to divide my
NOTES ;-) but maybe not. Allowing for the fact that there is no drawing app
in ONE, only scribble stuff, what you can do is to screen clip a line or a
circle or what ever you want and use and instert that into your notes etc.

Its silly to have to do this, but for those that like shapes that dont look
like your kids drew them........ clip away.

Good luck all, and maybe MS will take some advice and add some more toys for
us. I am in Architectural Design, so straight lines are nice too ;-)

Guess you're not on a Tablet PC? If you've got Office on your laptop
or desktop, you can use any of those apps to create whatever lines or
objects you want, save them in a blank section in OneNote, then just
copy/paste whenever you want.

Not on a table, but have the Office... what do you mean save them in ONE...as
image files you mean? and then insert them... whats the difference?

Just that it would convenient to have them right there, in the same
application, when you need one.

Do a separation line in Word, for instance, then copy and paste it onto a
page in OneNote where you put the ones you want.

Ok that works too but wouldnt it be nice to just be able to draw in ONE,
maybe some day.

Thanks

I know, except on a Tablet PC I would like to see "automatic" selection of
hand-drawn items. Do a rough square, for instance, and OneNote would
recognize it and straighten the lines.
