File already exists and cannot be replaced

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Intel I am unable to open some of my older PPT presentations. I get the message ....:File already exists and cannot be replaced. "File is the name of the presentation I am trying to open. I get the same message when trying to open the files on different macs (Power PC and Intel macs).
