When I go into a directory and click on a an Excel file to
open it, I get a message saying that a document with the
same name is already open and that "You cannot open a
second document with the same name even if the documents
are in two different folders. To open the second document,
either close the document currently open or rename one of
the documents."
This message comes up even after rebooting and ensuring
that the document is not already open. However, despite
what the message says, the document does open. The net
result is the message appears to be more of an irritant
than anything and must be closed before proceeding. Also,
if Excel is already open, this message does not appear.
Would like to keep this message from continuing to appear.
