File cannot be open

I am keep getting the following message when I try to open a file. I am using
visio 2003 on XP-Pro with SP2 installed. Please help. Thanx

Error Message: This file cannot be opened because it was created with newer
or unrecognised version of visio.....

I know I have the most upgraded version of visio.

if you are using v2003 enterprise architect it is really v2002 and cannot
open a real v2003 file.
