File compression

I am trying to attach a 17 MB Word file to an e-mail in
MS Outlook, but I am having trouble sending the e-mail.
How can I compress the file so that I can e-mail it?

You will certainly be *very* unpopular if you post a 17 mb e-mail -
especially if the recipient is on dial-up and paying by the minute!
You can compress it with WinZip, but depending on what is making the file so
large, it may not be much smaller. Much kinder to copy the file to CDR and
post it.
