I have a client laptop on my network that has issues opening any Word or
Excel Docs. These files are NOT .dot. Anything that is emailed to him as an
attachment or stored in a network share will not open with out the File
Conversion Prompt unless if he saves it locally first. If he saves it to his
local drive all documents open without any trouble or coversion prompt. I am
stumped, ran a repair against Office without any luck. I can open any and
all documents on my similair laptop without trouble, so I cannot believe that
it is the file format.
