I've lost hours of work on two separate occasions now. Working in
Word X (release 1) on a 17" flat panel Imac with system 10.2.6 Word X
really seems unhappy with Equation Editor X but I am a math teacher so
I have to use it. I save as I go along and always just prior to
printing, but this last time when I went to print, nothing happened
except the spiralling rainbow circle of death!
When I force quit the program and try to reopen the document from the
desktop or from inside the program, it tells me the file might be
corrupt and unrecoverable - which in fact it is. I am VERY frustrated
and angry with this particular development.
Any solutions to:
1) preventing this from happening in the future
2) recovering the corrupted file
Thanks,
C.L.
