File could not be opened

Hi !

I am a Project Server Admin and everything worked ok today until an
hour ago.

When I try to open any file that is on the Server, using Project
Professional, I get the error "The file could not be opened". The same
error when I try to open Enterprise Global also. I am able to open
Enterprise Resource Pool. PWA is working just fine. I am totally
baflled by this.

Any help is much appreciated !

Hi !

I am posting this follow up message, since I saw other users had this
problem, but no one had posted a resolution so far.

May be this is not the reason why you got this error, but in my case,
it was because, the norton internet security software I installed on my
laptop was interfering with every other software including Project.

I removed and reinstalled some other protective software, and my
problem got resolved.
