File Defaulting to Manual Recalc

My budget model is defaulting to manual recalc even though I previously saved
the model with automatic recalc. I've used this model for the past 3
budgeting cycles. Could it be corrupted? I repeatedly change the setting
and it keeps resetting.

You might try posting this in an Excel newsgroup. This newsgroup is for MS
Access.

That said, the calculation method is affected by any other workbooks that
might be open and the order in which they were opened:
