Novice..please help..All of a sudden, I cannot open htm files on my computer.
It reads" file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the folder option control panel"

I have windows 2000 pro running office xp...

I cannot figure out how to do this... It was working before as all I had to
do was click the file and it would open..

Go to My Computer and then drop down menu Tools then Folder Options. Click
on the tab File Types. Scroll down till you see HTM and HTML. Hightlight
each one and it will show in the bottom under details what it should open
with. If it shows nothing or something that you don't have, just click
Change. This will bring up another window that gives a listing of your
programs and you can choose what you want the files to open with. After you
choose Internet Explorer, just hit Okay, then Okay again and get all the way
out. Click on an HTM file and it should open up in Internet Explorer.
